Is the damage to the engine due to water entry covered under warranty/insurance ?
Engine damage due to water entry is attributed to external factors and is not covered under warranty. However the same can be claimed under insurance provided you have taken additional add on of engine protection cover. It is requested to refer to the car’s insurance policy for better understanding.
